What is collected

Off by default in FORGE. Turn it on or off under Settings > About FORGE > Privacy

Off by defaultFORGE asks once and invites you to turn the statistics on. While they are off, the app sends no usage numbers.

Who is countedOnly installations with anonymous usage statistics turned on. Installations with them off are missing from every number, including Installations and Online now.

ReportedEvery 5 minutes, the running totals since October 17, 2026: tokens, working time, runs, sessions, projects, agents and phone calls. Plus a random installation ID, the FORGE version, the operating system and the type of Claude plan (for example Pro or Max 5x).

Models and costsNewer FORGE versions also report tokens per Claude model and the estimated cost at API prices in US dollars. This is a calculated value, not an amount anyone paid.

HistoryFor each installation, the service stores the last state of every day. The daily numbers come from that.

Not collectedMessage contents, files, project names and IP addresses.

Turning it offTurning the statistics off also deletes the stored record of that installation.

Totals are recalculated every 5 minutes. Days start at 00:00 UTC.
